Rules for this variation of blackjack are almost the same as most other forms of classic blackjack.

Card Values

As mentioned, the card values are the same as classic forms and most other variations of blackjack.

The Ace is counted as 11 or 1, kings, queens and jacks are 10. Numbered cards have a face value of their number.

The blackjack hand itself proceeds as normal, and your object is to get as close to 21 without going over.

Difference in Suit Em Up

The difference in the way suit em up is played is all about the side bet.

This variation allows you to make a bet you will be dealt 2 cards of the same suit. No matter what value the cards are, if they are the same suit you win the bet.

Side Bet Rules

Many players like the extra thrill of placing extra side bets. In this game the side bet is not required but can be made at any time.

Side bets must be placed before the cards are dealt. Once you select the deal, you can not change the bet or side bet.

Payouts

The payouts for this variation of blackjack are pretty much the same as most common forms of blackjack.

Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and Insurance pays 2 to 1.

The suit em up side bet however pays a minimum of 2 to 1. When you win that side bet it will be paid to you whether you win the blackjack hand or not.

Here is what the side bet payout values are based on the value of the 2 suited cards dealt:

• Two same suited cards of various value : 2 to 1
• Two same suited cards of various value that total 11 : 3 to 1
• Two same suited cards of that are a pair (except Aces) : 5 to 1
• Two same suited cards that are a Blackjack : 10 to 1
• Two same suited cards that are a Pair of Aces : 60 to 1 (RTG Version)

Betting Limits

Betting limits for this game can vary some from casino to casino, and also depending on the software supplying this game.

For the purposes of this review we played the suit em up blackjack at Roaring 21 Casino and the betting limits there are from $1 up to $100 per hand.

Some online casinos providing Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack do allow up to $200 limit per hand. In addition, VIP players at some operators can also have their limits raised depending on their loyalty levels.

House edge for this blackjack game does vary a little based on a few factors.
